Units of the Colombian Navy in coordination with the Technical Investigation Corps, CTI, of the Attorney General's Office, found 439 kilograms of cocaine hydrochloride in rural areas of Turbaco, in the department of Bolívar.
Thanks to information from Naval Intelligence, a search warrant was issued by the Attorney General's Office, to make a raid in a farm in a rural area of Turbaco, where 10 boxes containing 465 rectangular packages were found, with a narcotic substance inside.
CTI men conducted the Preliminary Identification Test, testing positive for cocaine hydrochloride.
The drug, which is presumed to belong to the Organized Armed Group, GAO, Clan del Golfo, has a cost close to 15 million dollars in the international black market, money that, thanks to this finding will not enter this illegal group.
In the place of the raid a man of Colombian nationality was captured, and a 12mm shotgun with 36 cartridges of the same caliber was seized. The drug, the man and the weapons were put into custody of the Attorney General's Office.
