Within the framework of the Unified Operation of the State, the Colombian Navy and institutions of the national government carried out a health and wellbeing activity that benefited 260 people in the village of Capaca, in the municipality of Zambrano, Bolívar.
Complying with all biosecurity protocols to prevent the contagion of the COVID-19 virus, crew members of the Navy Battalion No. 13, the Officials of the Naval Reserve, the Government of Bolivar, the Municipal Mayor's Office, the Fundación Unidos, the Fundación Gestión Social, The E. S.E Municipal San Sebastián, volunteer firefighters, the Educational Libraries Program and the Universidad Nacional Abierta y a Distancia –UNAD– brought the state offer to the inhabitants of the subregion of the Montes de María.
During the activity, primary care services were provided in general medicine, pediatrics, vaccination and cytology.
Besides, 75 units of Bienestarina (food supplement) powder and 252 units of liquid Bienestarina were distributed to strengthen the nutrition of children under 10 years of age, who also received gifts during recreational activities.
