During search and control operations carried out by troops of the Colombian Navy, jointly with Colombian National Army in the rivers and roads of the departments of Bolívar and Chocó, liquid and solid supplies used for criminal activities were found by troops, which would cost more than 600 million pesos.
The operations carried out by troops of the Navy Infantry River Battalions No. 16 and 17, in the municipalities of Achí and Regidor in Bolívar, and Quibdó in the department of Chocó, led to the finding of 22 tons of cement, 21,527 gallons of gasoline and 6,420 gallons of diesel, damaging the logistics chain of organizations serving drug trafficking.
The material, which apparently would be used for drug production and illegal mining activities, was being transported without the certificates for the management of controlled chemical substances, for which it was immobilized and put into custody of the authorities.
