Colombian Navy troops, attached to the Pacific Naval Force find a semi submarine in the lower Baudó region, in the department of Chocó, becoming the first naval device found in the year.
Information of Naval Intelligence guided the troops of the Navy Infantry Battalion No.22 to an estuary of the Ijuá river, where in the middle of an area of mangroves an organization at the service of drug trafficking concealed the semi-submarine of 17 meters long and two meters wide, with a capacity to transport up to three tons of cocaine hydrochloride.
The device, which would cost about 44 thousand dollars, was taken to the facilities of the Navy Infantry Battalion No.22 in the municipality of Pizarro, in Chocó, to be put into custody of the authorities.
