In a combined operation conducted by the Colombian Navy and Panamanian authorities, it was possible to find 3,001 kilograms of cocaine hydrochloride, which were to be transported to Central America in a go Fast boat manned by five Colombians.
The finding occurred 11 nautical miles from Isla Pino, San Blas archipelago - Panama, where units of the National Air and Naval Service of Panama (SENAN) and the National Border Service (SENAFRONT), guided by Colombian naval information, intercepted the suspicious ship.
During the inspection of the boat, the military found 2,609 rectangular packets of illicit substances, equivalent to 3,001 kilograms of cocaine hydrochloride, according to the result by PIPH.
This operation constitutes another serious blow to organizations serving drug trafficking, preventing the entry of more than $ 102 million into their logistics structures.
