In the framework of the international cooperation agreements conducted by Colombia and France, units of the Colombian Navy and the French Navy carried out training exercises in Colombian Caribbean waters.
In the exercise conducted during a day on the Caribbean sea, the navies practiced tactical maneuvers, interception exercises, support to emergency at sea, among others, testing the Resources of the warship and logistics ship, as well as the strengthening of the procedures established for the missions of each of the countries represented in the naval staff of Colombia and France who exchanged experiences in order to increase the interoperability and the level of training in safety, care and control at sea.
This event, which took place under the leadership of the Caribbean Naval Force, included the participation of the Colombian Navy's Missile Frigate ARC Almirante Padilla and the French ship Dumont DUrville.
It is noteworthy that the different exchanges conducted by the Colombian Navy and the Navies of other countries contribute to the collective construction of timely and adequate responses to the global challenges in security and defense.
