As part of military operations carried out in Hacarí and Teorama, soldiers of Colombian National Army found and destroyed about 79,000 coca leaf bushes in three seedbeds.
The first operation was reported in the Village of Bella Vista, municipality of Hacarí, where soldiers of the Rapid Deployment Battalion No. 7 found a seedbed with about 70,000 coca leaf seedlings, 20 and 30 centimeters high.
On the other hand, the soldiers of the Ground Operations Battalion N.° 11 found in the village Guarupales and El Socorro, municipality of Teorama, two seedbeds with about 9000 plants, which are part of the drug trafficking chain.
The three seedbeds were destroyed; their estimated cost is more than 35 million pesos.
