The events were reported in the Zaragoza village, in the L贸pez de Micay municipality, in the department of Cauca.
Troops of the National Army in a joint operation with the National Navy, captured six suspected members of the organized armed group, GAO-r, front Jaime Mart铆nez, who would have detained four of their comrades. They, in turn, voluntarily surrender to justice.
In addition, a minor was recovered and put into custody of the Colombian Institute of Family Wellbeing in order to restore his rights.
Among those captured would be the individuals alias Alexander, group ringleader, alias Mimi and alias Luis, said to be squad ringleaders.
This important operational result directly hits one of the substructures of the GAO-R Jaime Mart铆nez commissions directed by alias Mayimb煤, who currently commits crimes in the north-west of the Department of Cauca.
These individuals would be responsible for one of the main drug trafficking mobility routes to the Pacific Ocean, over the Naya sector.
At the time of the captures, a considerable amount of cash, ammunition of different calibers, a shotgun, a 9 mm pistol, two improvised explosive devices and material for the manufacture of them were seized.
