In La Dolores, a village in Valle del Cauca, men and women of the Air Combat Command No.7 - CACOM7, visited the Jesus Christ Resurrected Home Foundation, which houses five homeless older adults in a vulnerable condition, to enjoy a pleasant morning.
This Foundation is in charge of providing support to elderly people who have been abandoned and do not have the support of close relatives, and is part of Asodolores, a non-profit association, made up of a group of entrepreneurs in the sector, who, in their social responsibility, provide a helping hand to the least favored communities.
On this occasion, the geriatric home received the members of the CACOM-7 to share a leisure time with the elderly, in the same way, a donation of toiletries and clothes was distributed, sharing an afternoon of talks, games and songs.
With this type of activities, the Colombian Air Force continues to create bonds of partnership with civil society, as well as the strategic relationship with this group of social actors who work to improve the quality of life of the most vulnerable in the department of Valle del Cauca.
