A woman with six months of pregnancy, who was in the former Territorial Space of instruction and Reincorporation -ETCR Carrizal, in the municipality of Remedios, Antioquia, was urgently evacuated in an Angel helicopter of the Colombian Air Force.
After recovering the request sent by the National Army, through the National Personnel Recovery Center-CENRP, of the Air Combat Command No.5, in Rionegro, a UH-60 helicopter was sent for the humanitarian mission, which immediately took off to the area to save the life of the mother and fetus.
During the flight, her vital signs were monitored and stabilized, in order to finally have the stable pregnant mother in the Air Health Program of the Olaya Herrera airport in the Antioquia capital city.
The Air Institution deploys its Resources as far as necessary, saving the lives of those who require its metal Angels.
