In an effort to improve and preserve citizens' public spaces, the Colombian Air Force carried out the Adopt a Park campaign in the Villa Rita neighborhood in Yopal, Casanare. This event, led by the Casanare Air Group and the Civil Aeronautics, included cleaning, painting and restoration activities of the playground facilities in this sector.
During the activity, a new football field was adapted and the green areas were improved, as well as the maintenance of the playground, which is vital for the recreation of the young people of the community. This project positively benefits more than 80 children and adolescents, promoting a safer and more conducive environment for their comprehensive development.
The initiative carried out by the Comprehensive operation Section of this military unit is aligned with the institution's commitment to strengthening the social fabric in vulnerable neighborhoods of Casanare. These types of activities not only contribute to the beautification of public spaces, but in the same way reinforce the importance of collaboration between the institutions and people in building a healthier environment.
In this way, the Colombian Air Force reaffirms its commitment to social development and environmental sustainability, cultivating a sense of belonging and promoting the care of public spaces. This is how, through these operations, we contribute to the comprehensive well-being of the communities in the region.
