The Military Transport Air Command, CATAM, has a study center better known as the Aeronautical Education Group (GRUEA), which continuously works with commitment and responsibility to comprehensively train and instruct the pilots and crews who serve the Colombians, fulfilling the mission of the Colombian Air Force.
The CENTER, which has optimal environments for the acquisition of knowledge, improving training processes and developments of competencies in the context of aviation, annually conducts more than 522 training courses for the crew of different flight teams of the Colombian Air Force.
These courses led Officers and Non-Commissioned Officers to acquire different knowledge necessary to fulfill the demanding missions aboard light, medium and heavy aircraft that are in CATAM such as the Casa 295, Fokker 28, Hercules C-130, Boeing 737, among others.
Thus, the Military Transport Air Command contributes to the fulfillment of the mission thanks to the Resources of the Aeronautical Education Group for the benefit of the Institution.
