The SPACE 100 course is being held at the Colombian Air Force Space Operations Center (FAC) in Cali, which aims to train participants in the fundamentals of space systems, a key component in modern military operations.
With the guidance of specialized instructors from the National Institute of Space Security of the United States Space Force, this program, aimed at officers and non-commissioned officers of the FAC, is the first to be carried out in Colombia and is part of the Mobile Training Team, MTT initiative. Through this training, the institution strengthens its resources in the space field and positions the institution at the forefront of technological defense.
With the increasing importance of space technology in defense, this course provides an invaluable opportunity for military professionals to gain knowledge in space construction and operations. At the same time, it promotes international cooperation on security issues, consolidating the strategic relevance of the Colombian Air Force in the global environment.
