Once again the Colombian Air Force in coordination with different institutions of the Archipelago of San Andrés, participated in the Sembraton that was held in commemoration of world tree day during the month of October; with this activity ends the campaign led by the Presidency of the Republic.
The campaign for ecological restoration was completed with a planting activity in the circunvalar sector in order to reinforce the living barriers that must exist in that area to protect the houses of the coastal breezes.
As a result of this initiative it was possible to plant about 200 plants on the island of San Andrés, including different coastal and fruit trees, Aide O'neal Fernández, representative of the Corporation for the Sustainable Development of the Archipelago of San Andrés, Providencia and Santa Catalina thanks the Colombian Air Force for the support provided during the activity.
In this way, the Caribbean Air Group fulfills the commitment to provide all the necessary support for the implementation of activities aimed at protecting the environment anywhere in the national territory.
