Following the policies of social responsibility and the commitment to the preservation and care of the environment, the Colombian Air Force continues to work in coordination with the Amazonas Sin L铆mites Foundation supporting the transport of post-consumer material that is recycled by members of the foundation in the department and taken to Bogot谩 in planes of the Institution.
On this occasion, a Boeing 737 Atlas aircraft of the Air Force was available to transport 4.0 tons of recyclable material, an activity that is carried out monthly by the Grupo A茅reo del Amazonas - GAAMA, which leads to significantly support this productive project that generates employment for the vulnerable people and sectors of the department.
In addition, this operation is part of the strategies that GAAMA has to contribute to the care of natural resources in the department, such as the solid waste recycling process which contributes to the protection of the environment in the south of the country.
