A UH-60 helicopter of the Colombian Air Force took off from Rionegro, Antioquia, to revive the hope of more than 200 inhabitants of the Trinidad village near the municipality of Nechí, transporting the necessary machinery to conduct the soil studies required for the construction of a rural bridge.
The project Bridges with Height, led by the Professional Officers of the Reserve of the Air Combat Command No. 5, will lead families, especially students living on the other side of the San Francisco stream, to have continuous access to education, which is interrupted by heavy rains.
The Colombian Air Force, in permanent coordination with the National Army, the government of Antioquia, the School of Engineering of Antioquia and the Mayor's office, has been working on the procedures needed to build this dream that was interrupted by the pandemic, benefiting the most vulnerable communities of the department of Antioquia.
This type of initiatives leads to bring the State closer to the inhabitants of remote and hard-to-reach areas, restoring their constitutional rights and opening the doors of development.
