The Colombian Air Force, through the Military Transport Air Command- CATAM, sent an ambulance aircraft King-350 to carry out the humanitarian transfer of two people from Caucacia to the Olaya Herrera airport in Medellín and two from El Bagre to the Air Combat Command No.5 in Rionegro; in support of the Emergency and Emergency Regulatory Center- CRUE of Antioquia and in coordination with the National Center for Personnel Recovery- CENRP.
The crew of the King-350, in the same way composed of a doctor and a nurse, took off at the CATAM ramp carrying out four two way trips.
This humanitarian mission was carried out as a priority, taking into account that the patients did not have the assistance they were looking for and were traveling by land roads at the time.
Each one was taken with his companion and during the flight, the medical crew monitored his vital signs until they were handed over to the doctors waiting for them on the ground.
The Colombian Air Force, through the Military Transport Air Command-CATAM, will have its crews to carry out the necessary missions in order to preserve the lives of Colombians, anywhere in the national territory.
