Meeting the requirement of the National Unit for Disaster Risk Management-UNGRD, a UH-60 Black Hawk helicopter in “Angel” configuration arrived in the municipality of Dabeiba to carry out the evacuation of 32 people who were hit by landslides due to heavy rains.
The Colombian Air Force sent its aircraft and experienced crews, who arrived in the rural area of this municipality, rescuing those waiting for urgent help; they had symptoms of hypothermia.
In the same way, FAC moved its aircraft with personnel in charge of conducting aerotopography, helping in the planning for the assistance in the emergency.
Through the National Center for Personnel Recovery, The Air institution employed all its resources to serve those who need it most.
