The Colombian Air Force continues to comply with massive aeromedical transfers, making flights of hope for patients who require an intensive care unit immediately.
According to the requests of the governorate of Antioquia and coordination with the National Center for Personnel Recovery, five patients in critical condition were taken in a C-295 aircraft, from the Air Combat Command No.5 in Rionegro, to the capital city of the country, to be assisted in different clinics and hospitals.
Eight people were part of the medical team, including a specialist, a biomedical and APH (prehospital care), who were attentive to the care and stabilization of patients during the flight.
