Resolute Sentinel 2024 is considered the most important multinational - multidomain military exercise in the region, where the Military Forces of countries such as Colombia, Brazil, Chile, Ecuador, the United States, France and Peru, will strengthen their resources in interoperability to face global threats and challenges in the field of security.
The Colombian Aerospace Force is constant in its and continuously improves its distinctive resources through simulated exercises that provide complex training environments for flight crews, ground personnel and logistics, which generate a direct positive impact on the level of training and preparation of the branch.
Therefore, today the Colombian Aerospace Force undertakes this new challenge, with the participation of crews of the C-295 aircraft and members of the Air Special Operations Group- GROEA.
In the same way, the group will be composed of specialized personnel of the Institution, within the framework of the military operation in response to cyber incidents, the protection of the National Critical Cyber structures and the strengthening of resources in Cybersecurity and Cyber Defense, which lead to face the different threats of this nature in the country.
Thus, with a military ceremony presided over by Mr. Major General Carlos Fernando Silva- Second Commander of the Colombian Aerospace Force, at the ramp of the Military Transport Air Command- CATAM in Bogotá, the Colombian Aerospace Force dismissed the men and women of the Institution who will participate in this multinational exercise.
