In a joint operation of the Colombian Air Force with the National Army, coordinated with the Police and interagency with the SIJIN (JUDICIAL POLICE), an operation against drug trafficking was carried out in La Florida village of the municipality of Puerto As铆s, department of Putumayo.
During the operation it was possible to find a rustic laboratory used for the elaboration and production of cocaine hydrochloride, belonging to the Residual Organized Armed Group (GAOr) Structure 48, Comandos de frontera; the substance would be distributed to generate economic income to this organization.
1,150 kilos of cocaine hydrochloride, 1,022 kilos with 62 grams of cocaine in solution, 8,469 gallons of liquid supplies and 3,350 kilos of solid supplies were found by troops at the scene.
