Cocaine found in new concealing mode in Bogota
The illegal substances found are valued at 300 million pesos and would be sent to border points with other countries.
Troops of the Military Police Battalion No.13 in coordination with the technical investigations corps of the prosecutor's office, found seven kilos of cocaine hydrochloride inside various stationery items in the Montevideo neighborhood in the municipality of Puente Aranda, in Bogota, it is presumed that the criminals intended to send the drug to different parts of the country, to be marketed there towards borders with neighboring countries.
According to intelligence information the hallucinogens would be transported to their destination in sealed letter-size folders, which troops found thanks to the inspection made by the counter narcotic dog. During the procedure, troops found a substance similar to LSD in foil-type packages with foil and plastic coating inside which was a white powdery substance; this substance was subsequently confirmed as cocaine hydrochloride.
