Continuous control and surveillance patrols led to the timely reaction of the crew members of the Caribbean Naval Force.
Units of the Coast Guard Station of Cartagena successfully rescue 10 people, who would have been adrift, moments when the boat in which they were transported in the Island area of Cartagena, presented failures in one of the engines.
In the midst of adverse weather conditions, the units arrived at the emergency site in a timely manner, managing to rescue the 10 occupants of the ship and recovering the equipment and material they were carrying.
Thanks to the expertise, experience and training of the men and women of the Coast Guard, the boat was successfully towed to safe dock, where the good state of health was checked.
