As a result of a coordinated operations conducted by the Colombian Air Force, the National Police and the Office of the Attorney General of the Nation, a clandestine laboratory was dismantled in the rural area of the municipality of Suesca, in the department of Cundinamarca. This structure was in charge of production of cocaine hydrochloride, belonging to a criminal organization in charge of producing and transporting this narcotic substance to European countries. In the operation, a person was captured.
In the laboratory, located in a farm, in the sector El Balcón of the municipality of Suesca, a member of the criminal organization, who served as coordinator of the shipments of narcotic drugs and also was the head of security of the clandestine coca grower complex, was captured.
In the place, 500 kilograms of cocaine ready for distribution were found s and destroyed by troop, as well as more than 3 tons of chemical precursors such as potassium permanganate, caustic soda and magnesium chloride, and 500 gallons of liquid precursors including hydrochloric, sulfuric acid and fuel that were Used as precursors in the elaboration of the narcotic. Troops also found a mossberg shotgun, two pistols (an Esteger and a CZ), a Smith & Wesson revolver, 67 cartridges of different calibers, 2 trucks, 4 motorcycles and 22 cell phones.
During the investigation it was possible to establish that the rudimentary laboratory belonged to a transnational criminal organization that has lieutenants in charge of coordinating all the logistics to send narcotic drugs to countries such as France, Spain, Portugal and Mexico.
With the dismantling of this laboratory, this criminal organization and a transnational drug trafficking network are heavily hit, taking into account that this laboratory processed about 3 tons of cocaine monthly.
