Thanks to the timely reaction of the Air Combat Command No.7, with the National Center for Recovery of Personnel -CNRP-, the coordination with the ambulance aircraft of the Military Transport Air Command was carried out for the evacuation in a night operation.
During the flight, the medical staff was monitoring and evaluating the child's vital signs until his arrival at the "Marco Fidel Su谩rez" Air Base, where he was taken to the Fundaci贸n Valle del Lili University Hospital.
Because of the injuries he had, it was vital he received specialized care. With this quick operation, the 12-year-old is expected to recover satisfactorily.
