'Roky' with a criminal record of more than 7 years that began in the extinct Mobile Column 'Daniel Aldana' of the Farc, continued in the ranks of the Organized Armed Group (residual) 'Guerrillas Unidas del Pacifico', where he served as head of commission of the urban group of this structure in the municipality of Tumaco.
The operation carried out by the Joint Task Force Hercules through its National Navy component and in coordination with the National Police and Prosecutor's Office, led to the capture of 'Rocky' and five other individuals in the hamlet known as Vuelta El Gallo, an area of the Municipality of Tumaco, in the department of Nariño, in the framework of the plan 'Diamante II' of the Military Forces and the plan “who does it, must pay” of the National Police.
Rodrigo Valencia Preciado, alias 'Roky', 25, was ringleader of urban commission in the municipality of Tumaco, in the neighborhoods of Viento Libre, Panama and Buenos Aires. He was responsible for the collection of extortions of money and in the same way he coordinated the illicit finances of drug trafficking in the area of the Sanquianga natural park.
This individual was wanted with an arrest warrant for the crime of homicide and conspiracy to commit a crime. He was allegedly responsible along with two other individuals, for the murder of the social leader Mrs. Luz Yenny Montaño in events occurred on November 11, 2017, in Tumaco.
During the search operation, members of the Military Gaula of Tumaco were attacked with shots by members of the residual organized armed group, which, after being repealed by the Military Forces, were captured. In the place, troops found two rifles, three pistols, two hand grenades, five magazines, more than 300 cartridges of different calibers and a communication equipment.
