In the course of Operation Tormenta, the National Army arrested these eight individuals, to whom several criminal acts are attributed in their judicial record.
In military operations carried out by troops of the National Army and the Attorney General's Office, it was possible the arrest by court order of eight alleged members of the support network for the residual armed group (GAO-r) Jaime Martínez, in the urban area of the city of Cali, in the Valle del Cauca and in Popayán, in Cauca.
These individuals would be committing crimes such as illegal carrying of weapons and drug trafficking, and crimes, including are association to commit crimes, procedural fraud, invasion of lands and violence against public servant.
At the time of making the arrest warrants effective, they were found by troops with three magazines for a pistol, eight cartridges, three laptops, a hard disk, four cell phones and two USB, in addition to relevant documentation of this illegal armed group.
The individuals remained into custody of the competent authorities for the relevant judicial work.
