In the illegal complex that wound cost more than 29 million pesos, five people were arrested, damaging the illicit activities of common crime groups.
In compliance with the Ayacucho Plan, troops of the Fifth Brigade, in coordination with the National Police, dealt a powerful blow against the illicit exploitation of mining deposits in the village of Los Planos, in the municipality of Landázuri; with the finding and closure of two mining production units, from which coal was extracted illegally
During the military operation, two electricity generators were found by troops and it was possible to arrest five people in flagrante delicto for this crime, who were put into custody of the judicial authority. The illicit structure would be valued at more than 29 million pesos and would have a monthly production of approximately 600 tons of coal, which increased the finances of the common crime groups.
These joint, coordinated and inter-institutional military operations fulfill the mission of maintaining control of the areas disturbed by the illicit activities related to this crime, thus preventing the damage to the environment generated by this criminal operation.
