In Yopal, the distribution of 59 prescription glasses was made which were pre-registered in the Development Support Activity (JAD), held last March in which more than 600 people from this region benefited.
The beneficiaries including minors, older adults and people with disabilities, received totally for free the prescription glasses the volunteer specialists in ophthalmology and optometry of the Manos Pintadas de Azul Foundation, thanks to the management of Clarity Vision Group, Disability Program of the Mayor's Office of Yopal and the logistical support of the Colombian Air Force, which made possible to distribute these glasses which will improve the quality of life of these people.
This activity included the musical presentation of the Batuta Foundation of the sonidos de esperanza, program, in which boys and girls from Yopal played the national symbols, in the same way Colonel John Alexander Rivera commander of the Casanare Air Group, GACAS, thanked the participating institutions and invited the inhabitants of the sector to continue participating in these health activities led by the Air Force and strategic allies, which seek to bring security and well-being to the inhabitants.
