Two clandestine laboratories used for the production of coca base paste were neutralized in the village Tuburera, municipality of Cumaribo, Vichada, thanks to joint and coordinated operations conducted by the Colombian Air Force, the National Army and the National Police.
These important missions represent a significant impact on the fight against drug trafficking in the area, as it hits the production capacity and the financial chain of the armed groups that commit crimes in the region.
During the neutralization of these laboratories, $40,322,500 COP in materials used for drug production was found. Among the confiscated items were seven gallons of liquid solvent supplies, 50 kilograms of lime, 55 meters of one-inch hose, 60 gallons of diesel, and 80 gallons of coca base paste in process, among others.
The items were put into custody of the authorities.
