In compliance with the Ayacucho Plan, the National Army, the National Navy and the Attorney General's Office arrested alias El Grande who, apparently, would be in charge of collecting coca paste base. He would in the same way receive orders from alias La Araña, who is the main ringleader of this criminal structure.
The Sixth Division of the National Army, within the framework of a joint military operation, with the National Navy, and interinstitutional with the CTI (Technical Investigations Corps) of the Attorney General's Office, arrested five alleged members of the residual organized armed group structure 48 and found war material in the village Bella Aurora, municipality of Albania, department of Caquetá.
Among those arrested, alias el Grande, who would be the ringleader of the group, and would have participated in several terrorist operations that hit civilians, as well as in confrontations over the control of illicit activities against the Carolina Ramirez structure.
This individual, in addition to participating in terrorist operations, would be in charge of the collection and stockpiling of coca paste base, he would in the same way receive orders from alias Araña, who is the main ringleader of this criminal structure who would have ordered him to take control of drug trafficking, over the area of Curillo, Belén de los Andaquies, Milan, Valparaíso and Solita, Caquetá, in order to confront the GAO-r Jorge Briceño.
In the second operation and after a combat on the village La Pradera municipality of Puerto Guzmán, department of Putumayo, the arrest of an individual was reported who would have in his possession war material and cash. He was injured, humanitarian and necessary assistance was provided, demonstrating the commitment to respect and compliance with human rights, where after that, he was taken by helicopter by members of the National Army aviation to the city of Florencia, where a team of professionals was waiting to transfer him by ambulance to the hospital of this city and thus provide the necessary care.
During the operations, it was possible to find two motorcycles, two rifles, magazines, abundant ammunition, communication equipment, cash and military accessory material for the exclusive use of the Military Forces.
Those arrested and the material were put into custody of the CTI (Technical Investigations Corps) of the Attorney General's Office for their respective prosecution.
With this result, the armed component of this criminal organization, responsible for homicides, criminal acts and confrontations against other structures specialized in drug trafficking, is hit.
