National Army troops in an inter-institutional operation with the CTI (Technical Investigations Corps) of the Attorney General's Office, made effective an arrest warrant in La Benedicción neighborhood, of the municipality of Yopal, Casanare, against alias Milton, accused of having participated in the collective homicide of three people, on August 24, 2021, in Saravena, department of Arauca.
According to military intelligence, this individual was allegedly a ringleader and hitman in the terrorist support network of the residual Organized Armed Group, GAO-r, Structure 10, Martín Villa, in the municipality of Saravena, Arauca. According to intelligence sources, he was instructor in the handling of explosives in the indoctrination centers on the border, he was in the same way in charge of collecting money from illicit activities in the municipalities of Saravena, Fortul and Arauquita, in this way he sowed terror by carrying out extortion and selective homicides in the department.
Alias Milton, apparently, the criminal structure was being organized in Yopal, with the aim of resuming its criminal operations in the departments of Arauca and Casanare to strengthen the finances of this criminal structure.
The arrested man was put into custody of the authorities to face charges for homicide, trafficking, manufacture or carrying of firearms and association to commit aggravated crimes.
