The vehicle was abandoned before the work of the Military Forces in the area.
As part of military operations, National Army troops, in coordination with the National Police, in the village of Piedra Moler, in the municipality of Patía, Cauca, found a vehicle in which more than 250 kilograms of cocaine hydrochloride were transported.
With information provided by military intelligence it was possible to intercept a car carrying 250 packages with a substance that by its characteristics resembled cocaine hydrochloride.
The vehicle was abandoned on one of the roads of the municipality until a crane arrived to take it to the command checkpoint of the High Mountain Battalion Nº 4 to carry out the review and inspection.
In the department of Cauca, military operations continue that seek to weaken the structures of drug trafficking and organized armed groups.
