Huila. In the first military operation, the Heroes of the Bicentenary of the High Mountain Battalion No. 9 of the Ninth Brigade, in the framework of the fight against drug trafficking, could capture two people in flagrante delicto for the crime of trafficking, manufacture and carrying of narcotics.
It is a 27-year-old woman and a 40-year-old man. After the voluntary search, troops found in the middle of their belongings, a total of 1,265 grams (5 pounds) of coca base paste.
The two people were captured in the hamlet Tres Esquinas of the municipality of Algeciras, during searches of control carried out by troops to travelers on the route Balsillas - Neiva.
Once the capture was decided, they were put into custody of the authorities for the judicial procedures.
In the center of Neiva, the military operations of the Artillery Battalion No. 9 Tenerife in a coordinated work with CTI (Technical Investigations Corps), led to the capture of an individual required for the punishable act of personal injuries.
The military operations went to Los Robles del Guamo farm in the department of Tolima. The military unit with the support of the CTI (Technical Investigations Corps), made effective the arrest warrant against an individual for the crime of sexual intercourse with a minor of age.
