In a joint work, more than 3,000 trees of different types were planted in the largest Paramo in the world.
Cundinamarca. This initiative led by the Infantry Battalion No. 39 "Sumapaz", attached to the 13th Brigade of the National Army, in coordination with the municipality of Pasca in Cundinamarca, led to the planting of more than 3,000 trees in the largest Paramo in the world, a water source that provides the vital liquid to millions of people in the country.
During the activity the multi mission heroes guaranteed the complete adaptation of the hamlet Juan Viejo for the planting of trees and made the beautification of the area, taking a message to the community in search of the recovery of the environment and benefiting hundreds of citizens of the different sectors of the páramo.
