More than 300 kilos of cocaine hydrochloride and more than 40 kilos of coca paste base were found by troops at the scene.
Within the framework of military operations, Colombian National Army, in coordination with the National Police, found a megalaboratory with the capacity to produce more than three tons of cocaine per month, it would cost more than 2,000 million pesos. The finding took place in the rural area of the municipality of Durania, Department of Norte de Santander.
The complex, which had four rustic structures, contained more than 300 kilos of cocaine hydrochloride, more than 40 kilos of base paste, more than 2,700 gallons of liquid chemicals and more than half a ton of solid chemicals.
It is noteworthy that this drug marketed abroad would have a commercial cost of more than 9 million dollars, so the finances and illicit activities of outlaw groups are directly hit. The organized armed group ELN has interference operations in the area.
