Military operations led by troops of the Task Force Quiron in the department of Arauca leave a new and decisive blow against the residual organized armed group (GAO-r) Structure Primera with the finding and later destruction of one of its camp areas with capacity to house to approximately 15 individuals.
The effective military operation, which was given by community information, took place in the village Normand铆a, in the municipality of Arauquita, where the Units of the Ground Combat Operations Battalion No.29 arrived by means of infiltration and ambush maneuvers, which led to a close firefight that resulted in the capture of an individual who after the respective judicial hearings was linked to the process for the crime of conspiracy to commit a crime.
In addition, on the site it was possible to find three long range firearms, including a 5.56 caliber rifle and two shotguns, four cell phones, five motorcycles, advertising material for the criminal structure and 15 million pesos in cash.
