Taking into account the complex health conditions of those hit by the flooding of the Cauca River, in Valdivia, Department of Antioquia, the military forces brought to the community access to multiple health and recreation services.
Antioquia. Around 1,600 inhabitants of the municipality of Valdivia, Department of Antioquia, benefited from a Development Support activities Day that was conducted in the outskirts of the City Hall, where the community could access for free services in general medicine, dentistry, physiotherapy, psychology, optometry , pediatrics, haircuts, manicure, recreation, among others.
"I thank the National Army for bringing us medical services to check the children, I hope God blesses them for everything they do with us, I have always been grateful, I have received many benefits," said Lina Maricela Cano, inhabitant of Puerto Valdivia.
This event was carried out thanks to the institutional work of the National Army through the Seventh Division, the Fourth Brigade, the Girardot Battalion, the Comprehensive action Battalion No. 7 and the reserve officers with the support of the Valdivia City Hall, the Valdivia Hospital and the Beauty Academy Royal Barber.
"We continue to rebuild the social fabric of our country, through these days we want the community to understand that it counts on us to provide multiple services not only in the area of security but in the field of medicine, recreational activities and assistance to animals," said the commander of the Comprehensive action Battalion, Major Henry Beltrán Leyva.
