Soldiers of the Battalion of Support and Services for Combat No.29 of the Twenty-Ninth Brigade of the National Army began very early this Tuesday, March 24, the collection work for the food bank.
This initiative, which different public and private institutions have joined under the guidance of the Municipal Mayor's Office of Popayán, aims to be a support for thousands of vulnerable families who, before the national quarantine by Covid-19, cannot provide their families with the necessary food.
The Popayán food bank will provide food security to the most vulnerable people, it is intended to work in conjunction with the institutions, entrepreneurs and merchants who will give their support to those most in need.
