These individuals would be responsible for the kidnapping of an eastern Planes trader in 2019. In the same way for demanding large sums of money on behalf of the organized armed group, GAO, Eln, for the release of their victims.
National Army troops in fulfillment of the Bicentenary Plan of Campaign Heroes de La Libertad, Operation Sim贸n Bol铆var, in a joint work and coordinated with the Air Force and the Police, arrested, in the urban area of the municipalities of Villavicencio, Meta, and San Jos茅 de Guaviare, Guaviare, five individuals known as Ingeniero, Moriche, Poli, Orejon and El Indio, alleged members of Organised Armed Group, GAO, Eln, front Domingo La铆n S谩enz.
These individuals were being investigated by the judicial authorities since they would be responsible, in 2019, for kidnaping a trader in rural area of the municipality of Villavicencio, Meta, where he apparently remained for a period of approximately four months, in inhuman conditions. The victim managed to escape from his captors, arriving by his own means to the municipality of La Nohora, Villavicencio, where he was assisted by the authorities.
According to military intelligence, on several occasions, the victim's family would have received evidence of survivorship with updated photographs of the man, as well as pamphlets allusive to the GAO Eln and envelopes marked with writings in the name of the Eastern War front, demanding large sums of money of more than 500 million pesos for his release.
For this reason, those arrested were put into custody of the Attorney General's Office to be held accountable for the crimes of extortion kidnapping and association to commit crimes.
