For the past two years, 39 women heads of household have been working to have their dairy business in the region.
The Twenty-Second Jungle Brigade and the program Faith in Colombia of the National Army, in coordination with the Rural Development Agency (ADR), the mayor of San Jose del Guaviare and the government, accompany the Association of Rural Women and entrepreneurs (Asomuruempre) of the San Francisco village in the capital city of the department of Guaviare, to receive the resources for the implementation of the Sustainable Livestock project.
With the signing of the agreement the association and the ADR, the distribution of resources to 39 women heads of household was official. This will help to start the implementation of the dairy project that has been structured since 2018.
The constant accompaniment of the professionals of the program Fe en Colombia of the National Army, was fundamental to, after two years, complete the construction of their enterprises, following the guidelines provided in the different meetings and work tables, so that legally they can show them as their own.
This is how the ADR, through its territorial director Elizabeth Garcia, emphasized the commitment they have with this region and its women, 鈥渨e are granting the Notification of some resources for the initiative of Asomuruempre, an association that have been accompanied by the National Army and its program Fe en Colombia in the Department of Guaviare, which helps to benefit 39 productive units for the dairy line, in total 548 million pesos have been invested".
For its part, Mrs. Arelis Guar铆n, one of the beneficiaries, showed her gratitude not only to the ADR but to the National Army, because after two years they can see the results of their constancy, "we want to thank the Army, faith in Colombia and the institutions that accompanied us today, it is something very important for us, we have been working as a team for a long time and we see the results".
Finally, the commander of the Twenty-Second Jungle Brigade, Colonel Hector William Murillo Sanchez, highlighted the operation of the Army through the program Fe en Colombia and the constancy of these mothers heads of family, "thanks to the support of the institutions and the ADR we support these women to realize the Sustainable Livestock project, this result is a very special recognition for families who with their perseverance have managed to carry out this initiative, and see that working as a team make dreams come true".
