One of those arrested would be alias Tato, alleged ringleader of the Jorge Iván Arboleda Garcés Substructure, with interference in the municipalities of Yolombó and Vegachí, in Antioquia.
Within the framework of the Ayacucho Plan, troops of Colombian National Army, in an inter-institutional work with the CTI (Technical Investigations Corps) of the Attorney General's Office, arrested, by judicial order, two alleged members of the Jorge Iván Arboleda Garcés Substructure, of the Clan del Golfo, in the village La Floresta, of the municipality of Yolombó, Antioquia.
Among those arrested is alias Tato, who already had an arrest warrant for aggravated homicide. This individual is accused of having murdered on September 12, 2023, in the village of Barro Blanco, rural area of the municipality of Yolombó, Antioquia, teacher Steven Chalarca Marulanda, at the event that was attended by his classmates, students and parents.
It is important to note that 50 million pesos were provided for information that would lead to the arrest of those responsible for this murder.
In the same way, alias Gordo was arrested for the crime of trafficking, manufacturing and carrying narcotics.
During the military operation it was possible to find 1900 grams of marijuana. With these arrests, the criminal operations of this organized armed group in this region of the Northeast of Antioquia are neutralized.
