With love, commitment and passion, the Multi-mission Heroes in their constitutional mission have begun an awareness a work aimed at the preservation and reduction of environmental impacts.
The department of Arauca is a paradisiacal place, privileged thanks to its exotic natural beauty in its flora and fauna, which saturates the senses, reminding us of the infinite splendor of life; a really rich territory adorned with different shades such as green in its immense savannas, estuaries, “morichales” and the blue of the sky that mixes with the colors of the plumage of the birds.
However, the damage that man has caused to the ecosystem has been excessive, which is why, every day, conservation and protection of the environment are taken with greater public and institutional concern.
This is an activity worth highlighting, to be admired and followed as an example, especially because this new environmental culture has been adopted in the schools with children, who grow with greater awareness about the preservation of the environment, implementing actions of efficient living in the environment.
In the last year, the activities carried out by the Araucanians are different, some of them by their own initiative and others, supported by the team work of the different Institutions and environmental authorities.
In several municipalities of the Department of Arauca, the Multi-mission Heroes have come to parks, neighborhoods, institutions and companies to fight with commitment, love and passion for the preservation and conservation of the environment.
The municipality of Tame, better known as the cradle of freedom, has been the epicenter of constant environmental activities that has united people, who through cleaning, training and sowing seek to strengthen the commitment and create positive links with the environment and the community. In this municipality, with the help of public and private institutions, more than 3,000 native trees such as Yellow Flower, Apamates, Pecas and Melinas have been planted.
The cacao capital city is certainly not far behind this beautiful municipality full of green areas, landscapes and savannahs, the soldiers of the country have been doing sowing activities where more than 1,000 people have been linked including children, young and adults, who through recreational activities have highlighted the importance of creating natural lungs to improve the quality of life of future generations.
The municipality of Saravena, where the main rivers of Arauca are born and where the original forest covers are preserved, the heroes of the country have made an invaluable operation for both society and the environment, since, by means of the distribution of leaflets they have generated awareness of care in order to conserve the environment in the best way; On the other hand, in this municipality, maintenance activities and beautification of streets and parks have been carried out, cleaning the sides and platforms, thus creating spaces for free recreation.
Thanks to the great effort, the management and accompaniment carried out by the Eighteenth Brigade throughout the department of Arauca, more than 30 environmental activities have been implemented, generating a positive impact on the eastern plains throughout the community and the environment, creating the bases and opportunities to maintain natural ecosystems in the best possible conditions.
