Within the framework of the San Buenaventura Plan, in solid operations in the territory to ensure the safety of the inhabitants of the Pacific, the Colombian Navy apprehended a minor (15 years old) with two handguns, in the village of Bajo Calima, a rural area of the Special District of Buenaventura – Valle del Cauca.
At a checkpoint conducted by units of Navy Infantry Battalion No.21, the young man, who was carrying a revolver, a pistol, a pistol magazine and a cartridge, was apprehended. It is presumed that this minor would be part of the Organized Armed Group, GAO, Clan del Golfo.
The young man was put into custody of the Children and Adolescents Police of the Special District of Buenaventura.
