The ceremony was chaired by Brigadier General of the Marine Infantry Ricardo Ernesto Vargas Cuéllar, Commander of the Marine Infantry Training Base, the commanders of the tactical units and the Officers of the Brazilian Navy infantry, added to the Training Center for Peace Operations, Cencopaz, who read the greeting of Almirante de Escuadra, Marine Infantryman, Alexandre José Barreto de Mattos, Commander of the Navy infantry of the Federative Republic of Brazil.
The commemoration of the anniversary was in charge of the Captain of Corvette of the Navy of Brazil, Thiago Caldas Soares, who thanked the Training Base for the gesture of camaraderie with the Navy of his country, while reaffirming the commitment of that institution in the strengthening of training in humanitarian demining for the members of the Navy of Colombia.
In this way, the commitment to train the human talent of the Colombian Military Forces is continuous with the purpose of contributing to the fulfillment of the institutional mission and Protect the Blue color of Flag.
