After detecting an unidentified aircraft in Colombian airspace, the Air Force conducted the interception procedure.
In an air interception operation carried out by the Colombian Air Force in the Caribbean, it was possible to find approximately half a ton of cocaine hydrochloride, which was identified thanks to the National Air Defense System that noticed the change of route it presented. Therefore, the protocols for its interception began.
This operation was made possible thanks to a surveillance platform, which carried out this procedure to the aircraft in which packages with the narcotic were transported. The seizure were put into custody of the Directorate of Anti-Narcotics of the National Police for judicial process.
