In response to a request of the National Unit for Disaster Risk Management 鈥揢NGRD and in coordination with municipal and departmental authorities, the Colombian Air Force transported seven tons of humanitarian aid from Quibd贸 to San Jos茅 del Palmar.
This support benefits families who have been hit by the current rainy season in the country; in addition, the personnel required to provide humanitarian assistance in this sector have in the same way been transported.
An Air Force helicopter is sent to the capital city of Choc贸 to provide support in a timely manner to the requirements that arise in the face of the serious situation, reaching both urban and rural areas bringing hope to the inhabitants.
