In search of generating spaces of recreation and well-being for the elders of the Hermanos Misioneros de la Inmaculada Foundation, Ancianato Santa Ana, the Professional officers of the reserve of the Air Combat Command No.7, with the support of a recreationist led different games to develop and improve the motor skills of the 40 elderly people in the home.
Through applause, songs and dances they shared time and broke the routine that day by day they live in the foundation, at the end of the activities, each person was given an ID bracelet of the activity and those who wanted to have ability games received them.
The visit to this home, in the same way aimed to bring medicines, food supplements, books, glasses, food baskets, a bed and a fan, in addition to carrying out an inspection with a construction expert to solve a problem of rainwater filtration in the main room, in which approximately 15 elderly people sleep.
The work of adaptation of the facilities will contribute to the improvement of the stay and the quality of life in this place. The Colombian Air Force will continue to conduct its support activities for those who need it most, in this case the 40 older adults who suffer from multiple pathologies and are in a situation of abandonment.
