As part of the Security and Citizen Coexistence Plan that is being conducted in the city of Medellín, the Colombian Aerospace Force, through its UH-60 Black Hawk helicopters, frequently conducts typical information operations missions with aerial loudspeakers over the capital city of Antioquia
Through this strategy, messages are broadcasted form the air inviting people to report various criminal acts including those that threaten the healthy coexistence and security of the inhabitants.
This type of activities is carried out in coordination with the different control agencies supported by the Army and the National Police, demonstrating the level of response of the State at all levels to confront facts and multi-causal phenomena associated with the criminal life of the country, being possible today with certainty to recognize that the security management in Medellín, has in perspective, with a consensual intention to understand the importance of materializing operations aimed at institutional strengthening, as an essential element to work for the promotion of fundamental rights.
Within the strategic lines that were established to support this plan, the distinctive resources of the Colombian Aerospace Force are always available, which will help in the process of building the security and coexistence of Medellín and Colombia, leading the process with sufficiency and creativity to strategically strengthen institutional capacity.
