The Directorate of Strategic Programs of the National Navy, through the Naval Academy of Cadets 'Almirante Padilla' and the Spanish design office Ghenova Ingenier铆a, organized the course on "Advanced Concepts of Naval Design", which takes place from the 26th to the 30th November 2018 at the facilities of the Naval Academy and Maritime University of Colombia, in Cartagena.
In the diploma course participate National Navy Officers, engineers of the Corporation of Science and Technology for the Naval, Maritime and Fluvial Industry, Cotecmar and teachers of the Naval School of Cadets, who will have the opportunity to deepen their knowledge in different Naval Design areas, with the aim of contributing to the future phases of the Strategic Surface Platform.
During 40 hours and with the accompaniment of three experts in Naval Design, the attendees will cover topics such as standards and norms of naval classification; behavior at sea; survival; adaptability; and onboard staff requirements.
